Let’s do some yoga! | For all of the family

Keeping children entertained at home is never the easiest task especially since a lot of us are spending our time working from home, quarantining, or monitoring our children whilst they are online learning. There is only so many times children can re-watch their favourite Netflix series or play with their PS5 before they become bored and restless.


To change things up a bit, we are sharing an activity for all ages with you that we thought might be fun for the whole family to do together!


There are so many online Yoga activities available for all different levels. Whether you believe you are a beginner or advanced, there will be a class suitable for you. However, we do recommend you choose a level that is suitable for all members of the family, so you can use this time together to do something active, fun and challenging as a family unit.

‘Yoga with Adriene’ is a great start to Yoga for the family because there are many different options available which focus on varied parts of the body, mind and spirit with different levels of intensity. Currently Adriene is doing a 30-day challenge for the month of January, although it is a bit late into the month, why not still join in now? It is never too late to start something new; especially when it is something that will bring you and your loved ones close together in difficult times and gives you some much needed escape from worrying thoughts. Surely, we all can do with all extra inner strength!


Adriene’s videos are on average 30-minutes long; out of 24-hours in each day, this is really a small portion of time to spend on yourself and with the family. It is a great chance to start the new year off productively whilst also keeping the little ones and not so little ones occupied and active!
